Part of the Lampe Gras series, this ceiling light belongs to a collection designed by Bernard-Albin Gras for use in offices and in inustrial environments. The functional aesthetic of his lamps, in particular the design of details such as the arms, stems, brackets and bases were truly original and far ahead of his time. Enjoyed by many influential architects and artists at that time such as Le Corbusier and Eileen Gray, the lamps were astounding in their minimal, robust, yet highly ergonomic design, giving users years of long-lasting illumination.
