An exceptional vintage jewel set to captivate the heart! This beautiful vision; with a floral inspiration and in the Art Deco style with quite the loveliest cluster of scintillating antique hand-cut Diamonds set as petals framing the gorgeous rainbow Opal gem. Dating to the 1960's, with a prettily shaped mount of fine Platinum upon a bezel and tapered band of 18ct yellow Gold; the super quality oval cabochon of Australian Crystal Opal (which we have had re-polished) simply glows with a compelling fire, the brightly kaleidoscopic colours moving with every turn of the hand. Astounding! 

We believe this finger jewel had an earlier 1930’s incarnation as a clasp and was converted latterly to a ring; the whole arrangement carefully considered and wonderfully balanced to perfect effect with leafesque ornaments to the shoulders adding to the drama and a pierced and beaded setting to the Diamonds. The combined weight of the Diamonds we estimate at a total of 0.50ct. The ring size is a 'L and a half' or '5.75'  but could easily be altered to suit. The cluster measures 14mm by 18mm. We will provide a valuation for insurance with this piece.
